Every school community seeks to bridge the gap between academic standards and genuine student engagement. Over twenty years in international classrooms—spanning South Africa, China, England, Ukraine, and currently Romania—have taught me that this connection is rarely built on rigid curriculum delivery alone. Instead, it is forged when a teacher invests the time to understand how individual learners think, adapt, and build confidence. As you plan your faculty alignment for the upcoming academic year, I am writing to express my sincere interest in contributing to your school's educational mission. Since 2025, I have had the privilege of working within the Romanian educational landscape at LTSM, where I currently teach Cambridge English to high school students and Cambridge Science to primary learners. This dual responsibility across distinct age groups has reinforced my reliance on evidence-based practices (EBPs) combined with connective teaching methodologies. Rather than applying a uniform instructional model, I Prior to this, my tenure at the Leonardo Gifted School provided deep insights into tailoring specialized frameworks for highly asynchronous learners. These experiences have given me a practical understanding of how to make complex curricular objectives accessible, structured, and intrinsically motivating for students. True value in an educational institution often manifests outside the formal boundaries of the timetable. Throughout my career, I have operated on the principle that supporting a department means being present when students need clarity or when a colleague requires collaboration. Whether through offering targeted academic assistance outside contracted hours, mentoring students preparing for international assessments, or contributing to curriculum development, my focus remains entirely on institutional health and student progress. The most rewarding outcome of this investment is seeing students transition from passive participation to active, positive responsiveness in the classroom environment.
